Press & brand
A starting point for accurate descriptions of kookey while the product and brand materials are in development.
Notice: Planned Product Information
This documentation describes functionality and policies planned for the hosted Kookey social platform, targeting release in Q1 2027. The current public website is a static presentation and waitlist.
1.Short description
kookey is a social platform concept for capturing, sharing, and discovering shared watch-and-listen rooms. The hosted service is in development with a target release in Q1 2027. A software license, approved media description, and confirmed feature list are not available yet. We’ll publish them before offering press materials.
The hosted service is planned, not available. Users cannot currently sign up, upload rooms, self-host, or use the social features shown here.
2.Verified project facts
- The current public site is a static React and TypeScript project presentation.
- The hosted social service is planned for Q1 2027; this is a target, not a guaranteed launch date.
- The current site does not accept accounts, rooms, messages, or payments.
- No software license or verified service-operator identity has been published.
3.Brand assets and inquiries
The public site uses visual assets, but no approved press pack, usage policy, or media contact has been confirmed. The project will publish downloadable assets, attribution, descriptive text, and permitted uses after rights are checked. The site lists contact@kookey.me for project inquiries, but mailbox monitoring is unverified; it is not a confirmed press mailbox.
4.Product screenshots and quotes
Visuals on this website are illustrative product concepts, not screenshots of a released social app. Do not crop them in a way that removes that context or present mock interface elements as live functionality. Approved screenshots, alt text, and quotations will be added after the hosted product is available and reviewed.
5.Media kit and approved assets
There is no downloadable media kit, approved logo package, product screenshot archive, or monitored press contact published here. We’ll share each approved asset’s source, permitted use, attribution, and descriptive text when they’re confirmed. Until then, press should use the plain verified facts above and should not present the site’s illustrative artwork as a released product screen.
