Age & child safety
The proposed 13+ age threshold and safeguards under consideration for the planned hosted service.
1.Minimum age and age assurance
The proposed minimum age is 13. The final age requirement and its legal basis are not confirmed yet; we’ll share them before registration opens. The operator will publish the actual age-assurance approach, what information it uses, how long any check record is retained, and how to challenge a mistaken restriction. No age-checking workflow is currently available on this public website.
2.Parent or legal-representative authorization
A 13+ age threshold does not remove child-consent requirements. Under Serbia’s Law on Personal Data Protection Article 16, a minor aged 15 or older may independently consent to personal-data processing for an information-society service; for a child below 15, a parent or legal representative must provide consent where consent is the legal basis, and the controller must take reasonable steps to verify it. Under GDPR Article 8, when processing is based on consent for an information-society service directly offered to a child, parental authorization is required below the age set by the Member State where the child is located; that national threshold is between 13 and 16. The app will apply the relevant rule based on the user’s location and processing purpose.

3.Privacy and safety defaults
Privacy settings, discoverability limits, contact controls, and age-appropriate explanations are design requirements to be decided and tested before younger users can register. The released service will document which protections are available and their limits. No account, message, block, or report control is available on this public website.
4.Content and interaction safeguards
Child-safety rules and reporting procedures for the hosted service are not available yet. Before accounts open, this page will explain how to report harmful content or contact, how urgent concerns are handled, and what help is available. Do not repost suspected exploitative material when seeking help.
5.EU Digital Services Act protections
The hosted service has not completed its assessment of rules that may apply to services used by minors. Age-appropriate privacy settings, recommendations, advertising, reporting, and blocking protections have not been confirmed. This page will describe the safeguards that apply once the service and its legal requirements are reviewed.

6.Reports, appeals, and transparency
There is no child-safety reporting control on this public website. Before accounts open, the operator will publish the route for a child or trusted adult to report harmful content or contact, how urgent cases are prioritized, how decisions are explained, and how to appeal. The hosted service’s safety reporting method and privacy protections have not been published yet. We’ll share them with the reporting process. This email address is not confirmed as a monitored emergency route.
