Accessibility for every participant
More people should be able to join, watch, listen, and understand shared moments.
Notice: Planned Product Information
This documentation describes functionality and policies planned for the hosted Kookey social platform, targeting release in Q1 2027. The current public website is a static presentation and waitlist.
1.Design for different ways to participate
Accessible controls, readable type, strong contrast, captions, transcripts, and reduced-motion support can make the experience more welcoming. Keyboard navigation, screen-reader names, zoom and reflow, and clear error messages also matter to people completing a task.
The hosted app is not available, and the public website has not yet had a documented accessibility audit. No conformance or tested-support claim is made here. The Accessibility Statement has more information about the review and feedback details that are not available yet.
2.Make feedback useful
When a feature creates a barrier, people should be able to identify the page, task, device, and assistive technology involved without sending unnecessary personal data. A monitored accessibility contact and response target are not confirmed; the site currently lists only a general contact email whose monitoring is unknown.
An alternative way to access essential information and follow updates is not available yet. We’ll share one once it is established.
3.Testing and known barriers
Testing should include keyboard-only use, screen-reader output, contrast, motion preferences, captions, text resizing, and narrow-screen layouts. The accessibility review scope, date, standard, known barriers, and fix status have not been published yet. We’ll share them after the review. Until that evidence is published, the product team cannot say which assistive technologies or tasks are fully supported.
4.Tested support and known barriers
No formal assessment report or tested-support list has been published for the public site or planned app. The Accessibility Statement will identify which pages and tasks were checked, the date and method, known barriers, and any workarounds. Until then, people should treat specific screen-reader, keyboard, caption, or magnification support as unverified and can use the Legal Contact page to see the current limits of the feedback route.
