1.A host-owned feeling

Our guiding idea is simple: a room should feel like yours after you capture it. That means making room for ownership, portability, self-hosting, and a social experience that does not reduce every moment to a metric.

In practice, that ambition would require clear audience choices, understandable service permissions, and a usable export or removal process. Those controls are not available on this public website. We’ll share their terms and how they work once they are confirmed.

2.Built around shared experiences

Shared rooms need context: who is there, what everyone is watching or listening to, and why the moment matters. kookey’s concept brings rooms together with profiles, profile notes, reactions, and discovery.

A participant might join a room, read a host’s note, and find the people who made the moment better. That is an example of the product direction; it is not a current social feature or a promise about final ranking and visibility.

3.A direction, not a shipped promise

The hosted app is in development with a target release in Q1 2027. The features, schedule, hosting options, and data controls may change during development. We’ll share confirmed feature and service details as development progresses.

4.How progress is measured

No product accessibility, privacy, or reliability results or targets have been published yet. As features are released, this page will describe the controls available and how they were checked.

5.Ownership in practice

The hosted service has not confirmed its upload permissions, audience controls, export, or deletion features. Those details will be explained in the Terms and product guides before the service opens.
